I never cease to be....BLOWN AWAY!!!

I have been filled with gratitude lately, do you want to know why?  Because I have the privilege of witnessing amazingly brave and creative rockstars step out of their comfort zone, face the fear of painting on a canvas, an allow the magic to happen time and time again!

I'm so glad that I continue to be in awe of this process!

Our painting nights on Bialas Farms in New Hampton, NY have become so incredible that we continue to sell out these events with the participants asking us when the next one is going to be.

We have painted during torrential rain, full moons, Friday the 13th and even sunny evenings and each gathering is more magical than the next!

Due to the overwhelming popularity of these events I have begun to offer this painting night in Milford, Pa as well

If you would like to join me for my next painting workshop to experience the magic for yourself, or plan your own private painting party CLICK HERE to be directed to my web site.

What amazes me the most about these special painting nights is that the truth that we are all artists and can tap into our creative energy continues to be proven true!  No matter who you are, even if you have never painted before, you have access to the unlimited well of creativity an the power of the universe!

I simply guide you to being open and allowing this power to move through you and then the magic happens on your canvas.

It is truly amazing to experience an to witness!

BEWARE..... Change may occur!

I'm writing this in the beginning of April.  Spring has FINALLY arrived in New York after a very long, cold, snowy winter and in spite of a wet and chilly March we are finally experiencing some warm sunny days!

I for one, am glad that March is over!  It has been a rocky and tumultuous month for me.  Let me backtrack.....

In my previous post I expanded on the power of Intention and using Vision Boards as a tool to create the change that you want in your life.  What I didn't add is a disclaimer that, ready or not, vision boards do create powerful shifts as a catalyst for the changes you wish to create in your life and, in doing so, you must let go of what is not serving your highest vision to create the space in your life for the positive experiences you DO want.  This can be very painful.  I haven't met anyone yet that didn't have a hard time with "letting go" even if it is for the right reasons.

I have not been very public in letting on that I have been in an unhappy marriage for quite a number of years now, but this information is important to what I am about to share with you.

I have struggled with being on a spiritual journey and changing and growing from the woman that I was when I got married 14 years ago.  My husband is a good person and a great father and the process of us becoming disconnected and distant was confusing and sad.  Yes, we did go to counseling 7 years ago and very recently.  Having 2 amazing children, we wanted to do everything possible to stay together but it just wasn't working.

The marriage was "broken" and couldn't be repaired.  Loving each other but not being "in love" with each other was not enough and we were both very unhappy.

So, after I created this amazing vision board about how I wanted my life to be, a series of synchronicities occurred.

First, I randomly heard an inspirational tidbit on Hay House Radio by Sadie Nardini, a famous yogi and inspirational speaker.  She was referring the practice in yoga called tapas.  Which is defined in Wikipedia as follows:

"In the yogic tradition it is the fire that burns within that is needed for the sanyasi to achieve the very difficult goal of enlightenment, to foster self-control, one mindedness and focus, simplicity, wisdom, integrity. It is used to develop and discipline the body, mind and character; control of mind; satisfaction of all desires - through discipline of body, correct speech, telling only the truth, correct thought, non violence, correct action, love for all, devotion to God, developing the ability to remain tranquil and balanced in every situation, act without any selfish motive or thought of reward, with an unshakable faith in God"

Nardini explained it further by stating we need to "SAY YES" and "SURRENDER" to ALL aspects of our lives.

I realized that I had been "pushing against" everything that I perceived as "wrong" in my life.  There is a saying, "What we resist, persists"  When you "push against" that energy of conflict and pain creates MORE conflict and pain.

So, I started to surrender.
I started to say.......YES!

To EVERYTHING in my life but ESPECIALLY the bad, sucky parts!

I just started saying to my self, "Yes, I surrender to the fact that my marriage is in the toilet."  "Yes, I surrender to the fact that I can't do what I want right now because of this and because of that."  "Yes I surrender to it ALL!"

What I immediately began to notice was, the more I surrendered, the less fearful I felt.

Fear was the greatest reason I was staying stuck in the old patterns of my life.

When I was able to let go of most of the fear surrounding making a change, I began to really believe that no matter what, everything was going to be ok.  More than that I was going to be ok.

As all of this was happening, I also happened to be in a strong creative space where my ideas were flowing and my painting was effortless and magic and powerful.

Paintings were being finished in record time and they were amazing! I imagine this was due to the shift in my perception.

I became drawn to painting Tree Energy Paintings with layers of symbols and intention.  The tree also represents letting go as well as change and transformation so, no surprise there!

Well, the act of creating an energy painting with intention is also very powerful!
So YES, BEWARE ...change WILL occur!!!

The latest tree painting I was working on not only included lots of words and symbols for intention and transformation, like "Be the change you wish to see in the world" but I also wrote on a sheet of loose leaf paper all of my feelings about my marriage including how I didn't want to hurt my husband.

I then cut the paper up into leaf shapes and applied them to the painting as collage with many other collage paper leaves.

Completely by accident, although I don't believe in coincidences, the walls in my living room were suddenly bare because I had moved those paintings to the new yoga studio I was teaching at.  So, the energy tree painting was hung over the couch because I thought it would look nice there.  The couch happens to be where my husband spends 90% of his time when he is at home, so, he was in very close proximity to this painting for several hours at a time because by now, our marriage had deteriorated to the point that he was also sleeping there.

I knew on some level that the decision to move forward with ending ur marriage had to come from him.  Well, less than a week from hanging the painting he tells me, "We need to talk."  And on March 2, 2014 we had the "DIVORCE TALK" and it was actually the best conversation we had in a while!

WOW!!!!!!

It was the first time in as long as I can remember that we sat down and talked about our relationship without arguing or blaming each other for what went wrong and we decided that we booth deserved to be happy and that staying together would lead us to hate each other and, worse, hurt the kids.

I will say that following this conversation it has been a whirlwind of a ride and a roller coaster of emotions going up and down.  I'm finding that this is one of the hardest and most painful processes that I have had to  go through, even though I know we will all be better off in the end.

I am  thankful every day for an AMAZING therapist, all of the spiritual tools I have in my tool box and the amazing supportive friends and family that are helping me get through this!!!!!

So yes, beware...change is not easy but it is so worth it to have the courage to be true to yourself, to allow yourself to be deserving of all of the happiness in the world and have faith that this is what God has intended for you.

So, in the wors of my Late and MAZING brother, Lanny Charton, whose wisdom I imparted when I first started this blog about 7 or 8 years ago......

"HAPPY, HAPPIER, HAPPIEST"

I'm taking your advice Lanny, and choosing LOVE instead of FEAR and going after HAPPIER to get my HAPPIEST.... I know you are so proud of me!!!!!!

And by the way, here is the painting that changed my life........

Turning your Vision into Reality

Well, February is coming to a close soon and with this, the hopes that Spring is on the way.  It has been such a long, long, long (did I say long?) winter in so many parts of the country that even I, an avid lover of being snowed in, am getting "cabin fever".  But alas, I have heard that we may be getting more snow next week.....oh well.

Even if it doesn't seem like it now, Spring will eventually arrive...it's one of those "constants" in life.  The seasons will change....regardless of how Mother Nature may be acting.

I've learned through my experiences and training that the more we can surrender to these changes, the easier our life is and the happier we will feel.

I've been more and more excited as the years go by, about the concept of VISUALIZATION and the theory in the law of attraction that states you need to have a CLEAR VISION of what you would like to create in your life.

We now know that visualization is direct communication to our subconscious mind which controls EVERYTHING!

I've had some powerful experiences creating VISION BOARDS in the past and I have learned from many different sources that the most important part about creating positive changes in your life have to do with the desired FEELINGS they invoke.

According to Danielle LaPorte, the author of the Desire Map, the real goal is to FEEL GOOD.  After all, why else would we want to transform anything in our life if it didn't feel good to do it?  And the specific desire to make the change stems from not feeling good the way things currently are.

So, I decided to create a new vision board this year and get really clear about how I want my life to look.

I thought about the areas where I wanted to create change and what was important for me to focus on like my health, my well-being and my career.

The desire to make more money and be financially independent and to return to a healthier body weight.

To do all of the things I love to do easily like travel, and paint and teach.

The process itself was transformational because it dawned on me that once I really took the time to be still and quiet and meditate and focus on staying grounded and balanced and loving myself......THAT was where the magic was!  And when I'm in that space of being fully present and immersed in unconditional self love and pure joy...............THEN I attract all of the other experiences I want to create.

In other words, freedom and abundance are natural byproducts of me just being me....and really embracing the joy of being in love with ALL of the parts of who I am!

And here's what the vision board looks like......

I hope your year is AMAZING!!!!!!

As the holidays approach I find myself busy completing painting commissions for my clients.  This is a GOOD problem, it means I am getting paid to do what I LOVE and what I am PASSIONATE about...PAINTING!

I want to share with you a very special energy painting that was commissioned by a good friend.

You see, there was a tragic car accident, over a year ago and her teenage step daughters died.  They were the only 2 people in the car and it was just that....a horrific event, an accident, one that every parent fears and no parent should ever have to go through and yet, it happens.

When she asked me about creating a panting, she did not want it to be a realistic portrait of what they looked like on the outside, even though they were beautiful.  She wanted it to represent their spirit and light and all of their INSIDE beauty that they shared with so many people.  There was such a loss, a tangibly felt ABSENCE of this light for all of those who were grieving for them, especially their family.

So, she went about describing their personalities to me because I had never met them in person.  I wanted to see photos of the girls so I could connect with them.

Many of you know that it is not uncommon for me to paint portraits of the deceased, sometimes it easier than others.  I can't say that I don't get emotional.

Well, I visited the sister's Facebook pages to learn more about them and saw their shiny beautiful photos and even a video of silly teenage girly playfulness and it brought me to tears.

When I start an energy painting, I never really have any idea of what I want it to look like.  I've learned to just take the information that my client gives me and start layering colors, shapes and lines.  Usually 3 or 4 layers into the painting I will get an idea of the composition of the painting and start laying it out.  Then it evolves from there.  I sometimes like to pull oracle cards and get messages or affirmations about the painting.

I was really connected to the girls at times and felt their playful souls as I was painting and yes, talking to them.  I even received a message in a song lyric that was playing on the radio and included it in the painting.

The point I'm making in sharing all of this with you is something I know we've heard before, but it bears repeating.

"Live your life authentically, be free, be alive, do what makes you happy."

The painting was never really "about" it's subjects.  Of course it represents them and their light and beauty.  But the message to me was clear, this painting was for the ones left behind, the grieving family and friends.  A reminder of the fragility of life and how quickly everything can change and that we should ferociously grab our own happiness in spite of fear and limiting beliefs.  In spite of what we have been told we "should" want or do or be.

So in the midst of this holiday season, I encourage you to be your truest self, to choose love over fear,  and to really ask yourself what you want and what will make you happy and then............GO FOR IT!!!!

Happy Holidays....let's Rock out into an AMAZING NEW YEAR!!!!!

Oh, and here is the painting.......

Chakra Painting, Energy Healing, Yoga.....OH MY!!!

When I had the idea to combine my passion for painting with the LifeLine technique, I had no idea where it would take me!    Because the LifeLine technique deals primarily with releasing subconscious patterns and limiting beliefs from your mind, painting was a natural enhancement.  We know that images communicate directly to your subconscious mind so it was a win -win!

Well, after some inspiration and brainstorming......my Color & Energy Painting & Healing class was born!  And then.....I decided to add yoga and it was complete!

Last Friday night I had the opportunity to share this experience for the first time with 9 amazing women and it was so AWESOME!!!!!!

We began class seated on yoga mats in a circle with a candle in the middle. It is very challenging to explain briefly the premise of the LifeLine technique to someone who has never heard about it before because it has so many aspects and healing systems integrated within it's framework.  But I did my best without making it too complicated.

I guided everyone through the first 2 of the 16 LifeLine steps.  Step 1 - integrating the fields of our mind, bodies and spirit with earth and source energy to be fully grounded and present to receive the highest benefits from the energy work.  It's kind of like how you need to plug your computer into an electrical outlet before you can begin to use it.

Step 2 is VERY IMPORTANT because it's all about setting your intention.  When we do this type of energy work, we are literally re-aligning the energy field of your body and the energy field of your relationships with your intention.

Before we do this we observe the physical symptoms and the stress in our lives.  In quantum physics the "Observer Effect" states that by simply bringing your attention and awareness o something already begins to have an impact and changes it.

After setting a powerful and amazing intention, we were able to identify the specific chakra that  each of us needed to focus on.

Working with chakras in the LifeLine technique enables us to locate and release Core Limiting Beliefs stored in the light body of your chakra(s).  When you release these limiting beliefs you are no longer triggered on a subconscious level through your senses of feeling, hearing, smell, touch and taste.

What's even more cool is that you re-program your subconscious mind as well as the cells in your body to react with your intention.  There is an entire area of science devoted to the study of the protein receptors in the cells in your body and how they are linked with your beliefs and perceptions.  For more information you can check out Bruce Lipton and his research and findings in this area.

After we have harmonized the chakra with the LifeLine technique it's time to paint!

I had the painting area set up on the other side of the room with tables and chairs and we worked with the color of our specific chakra using acrylic paint, collage and stencils.  This was a fun way to get into our right brain and creative thinking.

We had discovered that the Core limiting Belief we were working with stemmed form a 4 year young subconscious part of ourselves so I instructed everyone to really connect with her and paint like a "4 year-old"......it was really great!

Here is the painting that I made of my root chakra with the intention "I AM PURE LOVE FEELING FREAKING AMAZING!"

Here is anther painting that was done of the crown chakra...

After we were finished painting we returned to our yoga mats and I led everyone through a series of basic yoga postures designed to further stimulate and "open" the affected chakras.

This brought us to sitting quietly and turning our focus "inward" and I intuitively set an intention for the group that we could use for our final "portal" for bridging the gap between the conscious and subconscious minds.  The Present, Past, Future declarative statement portal.

It's kind of hard to describe unless you've ever had a LifeLine session or are familiar with Dr. Weissman, the creator of the technique, and his work.

Class ended the way we end every LifeLine session whether it's with a group or one-on-one.....Re-assembling the energy fields of the 4 year young part of ourselves as well as our current field and "walking and breathing"  mimicking the "cross/crawl pattern" that integrates the right and left hemispheres of the brain to  assimilate all of the energy work that was done.

WOW!

All I can say is that it was very powerful!!!!!

My next class is Friday November 15, 2013 from 7-9pm and it is going to be just as powerful!

I am so grateful to be doing this work!!!!!!!

 INFINITE LOVE & GRATITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
